   Message from the Chairman

Dear Colleague,

On behalf of the International Association of Airline Internal Auditors, I would like to invite you to attend our 15th Annual Conference to be held later this year in Goa, India. Each year the IAAIA strives to combine high quality, airline-specific training with dynamic locations, all at a reasonable cost. This year’s theme is “The Spicy World of Airline Auditing - A Journey from Compliance to Excellence” .The conference will be held from November 5th-8th, 2006 at the Taj Fort Aguada and Holiday Village locations.

The Conference programme has been carefully crafted to share insights on various topics such as The Essence of Enterprise wide Risk Management, Quality Management in Internal Audit Departments, Implementation of CSA, Risk Profiting for Airlines, E-ticketing etc. The programme recognises that in the face of our many challenges we need the tools of ingrained creativity and courage to venture into hitherto unexplored territories. It is a journey towards excellence, best summarised by the new image of the Internal Auditor as a Rock Star! The Goa 2006 conference will equip you the required tools to face many such challenges.

The conference will provide exceptional value in terms of continuing professional education. You will have the opportunity to earn approximately 18 hours of CPE and network with fellow airline internal auditors from across the globe.

Goa often called the “Pearl of the East”, is known for its Christian churches, age old ruins, palm fringed beaches, coconut groves, ferry rides, and bubbly folk music. Goa's 80 mile coastline is adorned by some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Given the many challenges the airline industry is facing today, we are proud to be able to offer IAAIA members an all-inclusive package which includes registration for all conference proceedings (educational sessions and gala events), 3 nights hotel accommodationand meal, for $950 USD .

For more information about the IAAIA and the conference, please feel free to contact North American IAAIA executive committee members, Sean Gaven-American Airlines, sean.gaven@aa.com and Sharon Grant-Continental Airlines, sgrant@coair.com or visit our website at www.iaaia.com.

We look forward to seeing you in India!

Sincerely,

Raza Abdulla
